Amaryllis Shearling Jacket

Rain was falling lightly when I left for a quick errand. I thought I’d be annoyed, but the coat kept me comfortable enough to enjoy splashing through puddles with my dog. Made me smile on a dull day.

Wore it to a small birthday gathering at a friend’s place. At first, I was worried I looked overdressed, but I felt comfortable mingling and even helped set up a small outdoor game.

Was skeptical at first, but a spontaneous evening walk with a friend turned into an hour-long chat outdoors. The coat didn’t bother me at all, and I felt warm enough to actually enjoy being outside.

Met a friend for coffee, usually I’d be cold and distracted. This time I was warm and relaxed, could focus on conversation, and even ended up walking to a nearby park afterwards.

I rarely sit outside for morning coffee because it’s chilly. Today I tried it with this coat, and I actually lingered, talking with my friend for almost an hour. Felt surprisingly comfortable the entire time.
